Virus Alert: Joleee.F spreads through Email advertising
One more report from PandaLabs regards the Joleee.F worm that spreads through an email advertising pharmaceuticals. It obtains information about the affected computer, such as how long the computer is turned on or if there is an SMTP, outgoing email, service available.
It then connects to the Internet to download a series of email addresses from a certain website to which it sends spam messages that offer pharmaceuticals and consequently, tries to infect the recipients.
This worm also creates a series of copies of itself on infected computers.
As always, make sure that you have an Anti-Virus program protecting your computer and especially make sure that it is up to date. Then get your computer scanned immediately!
